Box Office: ‘Pushpa 2’ is about to create another new history! Baby John tumbled on the 10th day, ‘Mufasa’ beat it On Friday, while ‘Baby John”s earnings have fallen on the 10th day at the box office, ‘Pushpa 2‘ is preparing to create another new history.
It has been 30 days since the film was released and it has now reached close to 800 crores in the Hindi version. ‘Mufasa’ is also maintaining its pace.
It has been a month since the release of ‘Pushpa 2 – The Rule’, but this film is not bowing down at the box office. Especially in the Hindi dubbed version, this action film of Allu Arjun is just 18 crores away from creating another new history.
This film, directed by Sukumar, has broken almost every record in Indian cinema so far. After four weeks, the film’s earnings have definitely declined on the 30th day i.e. Friday, but it is still ruling. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby John’ is in a bad shape.
On the 10th day, this film could not earn even 50 lakh rupees. Amidst all this, Disney’s film ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ is definitely surprising. It has done business of crores in India even on Friday.
Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Pushpa 2’ has made a net collection of Rs 1193.60 crore in the country in 30 days. The most interesting thing is that it has earned Rs 781.15 crore in the Hindi version. It now needs 18.85 crore more, after which it will create history by earning Rs 800 crore in Hindi alone.
‘Pushpa 2’ Collection Day 30
‘Pushpa 2‘ has collected a net of Rs 3.85 crore in the country on its 5th Friday. Out of this, the maximum earning of Rs 2.75 crore has come from the Hindi version.
While the Telugu version has done a business of Rs 1 crore. A day before on Thursday, it had earned Rs 5 crore in all five languages. Therefore, there has been a -23% decrease in earnings. But it is also natural due to being a month old.
‘Pushpa 2’ Worldwide Collection Day 30
Talking about the worldwide collection, the pace of ‘Pushpa 2‘ has definitely slowed down a bit. In 30 days, it has made a gross collection of Rs 1690.00 crore at the global box office. Allu Arjun’s film is currently at number three in the list of highest grossing Indian films worldwide.
At number two is Prabhas’ ‘Bahubali 2’, which did a business of 1788.06 crores. While at number one is Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, which did a worldwide gross collection of 2070.30 crores.
‘Baby John’ Collection Day 10
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby John’ has failed miserably at the Indian box office. In the first week of nine days, this film was able to earn only Rs 36.40 crore in the country.
While on Friday, on the 10th day, its earnings have fallen badly to Rs 45 lakh. This disappointing performance of the film is also because it is a remake of ‘Theri’, which is already available in Hindi on YouTube and OTT platforms.
‘Baby John’ on the verge of being a huge flop
‘Baby John’, directed by Kallis and made under Atlee’s banner, has a budget of Rs 185 crore. It was released on 25 December, the Christmas holiday. But it did not benefit from the festive atmosphere of Christmas and New Year. It would be pointless to expect anything more from this film now.
However, the next big release in theatres is Sonu Sood’s ‘Fateh’ on 10 January and Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ on 17 January. In such a situation, ‘Baby John’ has a chance to earn a little money, but it is fine. But it will be a blessing if it earns even 80 crores.
‘Mufasa’ has earned 126.90 crores in India in 15 days
Despite the reign of ‘Pushpa 2‘ in theatres, the film that has surprised with its earnings is ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’. In 15 days, this animation film has collected a total net of Rs 126.90 crore at the Indian box office.
On Friday, it did a business of Rs 2.35 crore. This film has been released in the country in English as well as Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
Worldwide collection of ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’
Seeing the pace of earnings of ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’, its shows have been increased in theaters. Whereas about 2500 shows of ‘Baby John’ have been cut. ‘Mufasa’ and ‘Pushpa 2’ have got direct benefit of this.
This film is making record bumper earnings in worldwide collection. In just 15 days, it has made a gross collection of Rs 3150 crore at the global box office.
