The wait is finally over as Shah Rukh Khan and Diljit Dosanjh’s much-awaited music video Don has been released. The title created a lot of buzz among fans, and it is safe to say that King Khan’s voiceover for the Punjabi singer’s music is going to set the jungle on fire, which is the perfect cherry on the top.
The Don music video begins with Shah Rukh Khan’s commanding voice, followed by Diljit Dosanjh’s dynamic entry. Enhanced by Shah Rukh’s narration, the video shows Diljit’s remarkable journey in 2024, including milestones like becoming a Billboard-charting artist, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and capturing fascinating moments from his ongoing Dil-Luminati Tour.
In the video, The King actor’s voice says, “Puraani Kahatein Hai, Ke Sabse Upar Jaana Hai To Bahut Baati Mein Chahiye. Lekin Agar Sabse Upar Teekna Hai, To Maa Ki Dua Chahiye. The exciting track is brought to life with lyrics by Roop Bhullar and Diljit Dosanjh and music by G-Funk. The song has been brilliantly mixed by Banz and Areesh Banji, while the recording has been done by Banz and assisted by engineers Anand AJ Joshi, Jenso JP Plymouth and Drew Sliger.
The visual appeal of the song includes a guest appearance by Elva Saleh, dialogues by Jatinder Lal and a stunning video directed by Rahul Dutta. With Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic touch, Don is set to become a fan favourite.
The Border 2 actor’s recent announcement comes just days after he expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan during a concert in Kolkata.
On tour earlier this month, Diljit referred to Kolkata Knight Riders’ popular slogan “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re” calling it a meaningful and motivational mantra. He said that the slogan feels even more special because it belongs to Shah Rukh Khan’s team. He also revealed that he is a huge fan of Shah Rukh.
