The fourth part of director Indra Kumar’s superhit film ‘Masti’, released in 2004, has been announced. Vivek shared a fun video on Instagram on Sunday, December 15. In this video, filmmaker-writer Milap Zaveri is seen holding his co-star Ritesh Deshmukh. In the clip, Zaveri tries to kiss Ritesh and is seen hugging.

 

On this, Vivek Oberoi captioned, ‘Masti 4 is now officially a love story…’Bromance’ begins! 20 years of madness after the first film! Sorry I couldn’t make it to the launch… will meet you soon on the shoot.’

Actor Aftab Shivdasani shared a picture of himself holding the film’s clapboard on his Instagram. One of the pictures also featured the cast, director and veteran actor Jeetendra.

Aftab wrote, ‘Madness has begun. The most fun ever… hashtag Masti 4.’ Directed by Indra Kumar, the adult comedy film ‘Masti’ was first released in 2004, starring Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab The film had two more sequels, ‘Grand Masti’, which released in 2013 and ‘Great Grand Masti’ in 2016.

‘Grand Masti’ was also directed by Indra Kumar. The film also stars Bruna Abdullah, Karishma Tanna, Sonali Kulkarni, Kainaat Arora, Mariam Zakaria and Manjari Phadnis.

Talking about ‘Great Grand Masti’, it was a horror comedy. Milap, who directed the film, has previously worked in ‘Shootout at Wadala’, ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and ‘Marjaavaan’.

 

 

Masti 4 will be directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Maruti International’s Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria and Waveband Productions’ A Jhunjhunwala and SK Ahluwalia. The three Masti films were released in 2004, 2013 and 2016 respectively.

The first Masti film featured Amrita Rao, Genelia D’Souza and Tara Sharma apart from the three male leads. The second part featured Karishma Tanna, Sonali Kulkarni and Manjari Phadnis as the female leads. On the other hand, Masti 3 featured Mishti, Pooja Bose and Shraddha Dad in the lead roles.
