Mufasa, which is a prequel to The Lion King (2019), grossed Rs 63 crore in its opening week. The Shah Rukh Khan and Mahesh Babu starrer grossed Rs 33.5 crore by the second Monday (11th day).
Taking into account the New Year’s Eve business, Mufasa’s total collections in Indian markets, including Hindi and Telugu, now stand at Rs 98.25 crore. It will cross the Rs 100 crore mark tomorrow, the 13th day, i.e., the first day of 2025.

The film outperformed the other versions and earned Rs 1.15 crore. The Tamil version of the film achieved an impressive occupancy of 26.92 per cent, which is the highest among all language versions.
The English version earned Rs 1.6 crore, while the Hindi version also performed well, earning Rs 1.9 crore on the same day. However, the Telugu version lagged behind, collecting only Rs 0.35 crore on the 12th day.
