According to the police, two laborers were working at a Metro construction site in Kandivali, Mumbai, when Marathi actor Urmila Kothare‘s automobile struck them early on Saturday morning, killing one and wounding the other.
Additionally hurt in the collision were Kothare and her driver, who was charged with reckless and careless driving. The incident happened on Saturday at approximately 12.45 am, according to the police. Kothare was traveling on Ghodbunder Road to her house in Thane after dropping off a friend at Jogeshwari when the driver allegedly lost control of the car close to the Poisar Metro station in Kandivali.
When the event occurred, she had just finished shooting and was heading home, according to a police officer. Upon arrival, one of the laborers was pronounced deceased. The police also stated that the actress and the driver are receiving treatment for their injuries.
